The MG 5 EV is currently the only affordable electric estate car on the market. It’s available with two battery sizes and the bigger 61kWh battery gives the car an official range of 250 miles. While a little no-frills in places, the interior is functional and the space on offer makes this a practical electric family car. Naturally, running costs are very low but is the MG 5 EV good enough as an overall package to tempt buyers away from a petrol or diesel estate, or an electric SUV?
