This is the new Ferrari Purosangue, the first ever SUV to wear the prancing horse badge.
That said, Ferrari are refusing to admit that this is in fact an SUV, despite the raised ride height and tall four-door bodystyle…
Even though this is a first for the brand, there are plenty of design features which have been lifted from other Ferrari models. The headlights look a bit like those you’ll find on the SP1 Monza, while the air vents behind the doors and the kinked side windows are rather Ferrari FF-esque.
From the rear, the Purosangue looks a bit like a Ferrari Roma which has eaten one too many pies. It may be polarising, but you can’t deny that this is one of the most imposing-looking new cars revealed in a long time.
That raised bonnet is hiding something equally as impressive, a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 with 725hp and 716Nm of torque. This SUV has its sights firmly set on the W12 engined Bentley Bentayga Speed.
