Cameras and eyes see light differently. Creating an HDR photo merge from bracketed exposures makes it look natural and means less 'noise' in the shadows. I wouldn't normally recommend HDR for a portrait, but a person in front of a window is the most common example of eyes and cameras seeing differently. See me shooting the image in part 1
